Day 1-5: Get acquainted with the basics and translate your skills

- Read through OCEG's website and understand what GRC (governance, risk management, and compliance) means.

Day 6-10: Read the GRCP Website and apply your translatable skills
- Read through the OCEG's GRCP website, to get a comprehensive understanding of the GRCP certification and its requirements.
- Read through the GRC Capability Model, the “Red Book”, which is the essential body of knowledge.
- Practice applying your translatable skills to understand the concepts better. For example, use your communication skills to explain complex concepts to a friend or family member, or use your attention to detail to identify potential risks in a hypothetical scenario.
Day 11-15: Take an online course and develop your technical skills
- Enroll in the GRC Fundamentals online course that provides a more structured and comprehensive understanding of GRC and OCEG's GRCP certification. It is a self-study online course provided to deepen your understanding of the GRC Capability Model.
- Develop your technical skills by familiarizing yourself with relevant software and tools used in GRC roles.
